Supermarkets

Smart Parking has an extensive track record working with supermarkets – both at the construction phase and as a retro-fit for current sites.

How Smart Parking can enhance the customer experience

How Smart Parking can enhance the customer experience

Supermarkets experience a high turnover of vehicles in their car park every day, and challenges can arise in meeting customer needs, while also catering for shoppers with limited mobility or small children.

Smart Parking’s system is designed to be scalable and can be tailored to any site. As such, this means we start with a traffic management plan, and devise the best way to direct traffic flow to suitable bays.

Through the combined use of in-ground or surface mount sensors, or OHI sensors that also act as bay availability beacons by the use of coloured LED lights, an entire site can be monitored through a single dashboard. The information collated by the sensors can be fed through to LED directional signage, which we strategically place around the car park to display a live feed of available bays in defined sections of the car park.

Customer satisfaction and retention

Motorists are drawn to to a parking site that is well run and maintained.

Parking convenience is a huge part of customer satisfaction, and can be the deciding factor when it comes to customer loyalty and retention.

By installing a SmartPark system you can have your customers drive on site with the confidence that their parking experience will be a positive one, and that they will safely and easily find a bay, as well as understand any tariffs or parking conditions.

Managed Parking Services in the UK

The implementation of a well-run car park results in increased compliance and fewer instances of unauthorised parking – meaning that valuable parking space is maximised for genuine visitors.

Smart Parking provide our car park management service in hundreds of sites across the UK. We recognise that every site has unique requirements. We conduct a thorough up-front analysis with the customer in which we get to the bottom of the parking issues that exist on a site, and we follow this with a site survey to obtain deeper technical insight.

This collaborative approach allows us to recommend the best method of management and installation of the hardware best suited to that site.
